These were BORING. Nice enough for the purpose that they serve...but after being painted once (I don't even think there is one piece of real wood in these things...we bought them 10 years ago...) they were just not singing the pretty nightstand tune. Now I am not sure what a pretty nightstand tune is but I am sure that it sounds a little like the song "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah". Anyways, we wanted to do something (and that something needed to be cost effective) to make these pieces fit our room theme better. So here are the before and afters...

The whole project cost $8 per nightstand. Now that is a cost effective nightstand makeover:)
